World Population day is celebrated on 11th
of July every year. In 1987 United State
decided to celebrate this day as World population day. World Population is
approx 6 Billion 82 Crores. It is
expected to cross 9 Billion between 2040 & 2050.
In Indian perspective, now India’s population
is approx 1 Billion 22 Crores, which is
three times more from the time of Independence. During independence India’s
population was approx 35 Crores. Sources says that in every 10 years India’s population
increases by 18 crores, which is equivalent with the population of Brazil.
According to the Census of year
2011 there is down fall in the population between the year 2001 to 2011. But the
population will maintain its speed than in year 2030 India will become the higest populated country in the
world.
